Welcome Family and Friends

Thank you for sharing this special occasion with us!

The pandemic has not been easy for our family and doing all that we must do to protect Bella's health has made our world very small.  Most people don't know and would probably never believe or understand the challenges Cameron has faced and the sacrifices he has made. Maybe it's all those challenges that have helped him develop such compassion, empathy,  strength, courage, and tenacity. We are so proud of his many achievements and the resilience he has had through some incredibly difficult times.

We thought it would be impossible for Cameron to become a Bar Mitzvah, but he insisted. When Bella's immunologist said we shouldn't go to indoor services, he masked up and went without us.  He became part of a community and developed a Jewish identity. We are so proud of him for pushing us to be more creative, work harder, and take some risks so that we could share this important milestone with family and friends.

Cameron, we are so proud of you and we know you will be a great man.  Never stop fighting for what you believe in!

Cameron is a great big brother to Bella and to keep his sister safe, he has been wearing an N95 mask since March 2020.  Whether in school or on the tennis court, Cameron has been wearing his mask.  He wore his mask to Morning Minyan and his Bar Mitzvah Service.  However, he made his grand entrance to Club Cameron and took off his mask.  His friends hadn't seen his face in three and a half years!
